Try this amazing cream cheese spinach recipe

This yummy cream cheese spinach is a hit, especially if you are hosting guests at your house.
Spinach is one of the most nutritious vegetables and adding cream cheese to it makes it a delicious dish.
Renowned chef Nelson Makgakoa shares his mouth-watering spinach recipe with us.
Ingredients:
1 bunch spinach
75g butter
75g flour
2 cups warm milk (always makes sure that the milk is warm before making the sauce in order to avoid lumps forming)
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Method:
- First wash the Spinach and chop it roughly.
- Blanch (cook below boiling point) in hot water and salt.
- Remove the spinach and put it in a colander or sieve in order to drain the excess water.
- Heat the butter in a saucepan, then add the onion and cook until translucent.
- Stir in the flour.
- Slowly start to whisk in the warm milk for five minutes until the sauce has thickened and the spinach is nicely cooked.
Remove from pot and pour into serving dish.
Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the cooked cream spinach and leave for a minute to let the cheese melt.
Serve hot or cold.
