Will you be trying the new cannabis pizza?
Cape Town and Johannesburg peeps will be the first to taste South Africa’s first ‘dagga’ pizza.
This comes after popular pizza restaurant chain Col’Cacchio announced on Twitter that it will be including cannabis on two of their pizzas from Tuesday, 25 June. The pizzas are the Green Goddess pizza, which is great for vegetarians, and the Mary Jane pizza, which has chicken, piquante peppers, mushrooms, and avocado dressing.
“CBD is believed to have many benefits. It can help reduce anxiety, alleviate arthritis and act as an anti-inflammatory,” said the restaurant in a video clip they posted on their Twitter page.

Although this is a first for South Africa, cannabis pizza has been around for some time.
