Somizi Mhlongo has never been shy to talk about his sexuality.  However, he says he is tired of people always being inquisitive about it.

Speaking on 'The Braai Show with Cassper Nyovest', Somizi set the record straight about his sexuality. He says he has always been bisexual.

He says he told his ex-partner, Palesa Madisakwane, that he was gay before they conceived their daughter Bahumi.

“Even the baby mama knows that when she told me she liked me, I told her I was gay. She said I was lying and she tested me. I decided to go for it and that’s how it happened," he told Cassper.

“I was transparent from the onset," he says.  He went on to explain that he is not only attracted to men.

"I hate always explaining myself. I am not gay, I am a pansexual, I am attracted to whoever I’m attracted to at the time," said Somizi.

He adds that if he can meet a beautiful woman, he would date her.  "So even if I meet a beautiful woman now, I’d date her,” he said.

Somizi is currently separated from his husband Mohale Motaung. The estranged lovers got married in September 2019.
