Here are some tips for better lunchbox planning for your kids...
The 2023 academic calendar has officially kicked off in South Africa.
Aside from worrying about tuition, buying school supplies, and purchasing uniforms, parents also need to worry about packing lunches for their kids.
Let's take a look at the things you can do to better manage your child's lunches.
Have the right lunch box container type
There are different lunch box containers available. Pick one that will accommodate the way you plan to pack meals for your child. For instance, a lunchbox with three compartments is great if your child also brings a snack and drink in addition to the main meal.
Have a meal plan
A meal plan has great benefits. It allows you to plan better and saves you time.
Involve your child in selecting the foods they like so that you pack things they would enjoy eating.

Buy all the food items you will need
After creating your meal plan, make sure you have the foods you need. You can even do the checklist at the beginning of every week to ensure you don't find yourself running to the stores last minute to try and get the items.
Be mindful of presentation
How food looks is important because before we eat with our mouths, we eat with our eyes.
Make you kid's lunch look appealing.
Use your imagination when packing the lunch, and you may even invite your kid to set up the food in a way that is appealing to them.
