George Harrison was a man whose music changed the world. He dominated the music industry from the 1960s until the 1980s.
Harrison became popular as a member of The Beatles.
He was ranked number 11 of Rolling Stone magazine's '100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time'.
The star is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee – as a member of the Beatles in 1988, and posthumously for his solo career in 2004.

- He began playing the guitar in secondary school.
- The first band he joined was Quarrymen - a rock band that was formed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. This band was later changed to be called The Beatles.
- During 1971, Harrison held two concerts to raise funds for the fight against starvation in Bangladesh.
- An intruder attacked him in his home in 1999 and stabbed him multiple times, but he survived.
- Harrison suffered health complications. He suffered throat cancer, lung cancer, and a brain tumour.
- He wrote ‘Here Comes The Sun’ in Eric Clapton's garden.
- His three most popular songs are 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps', 'Here Comes the Sun', and 'Something'.
