Justin Bieber helps take Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee to number one in the UK.
Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's 'Despacito' remix featuring Justin Bieber just hit number one on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart with Carol and Ricky.
The hit single is also sitting at the top in the UK. 'Despacito' is Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee first UK #1.
The last time a Puerto Rican artist made it to the top of the UK chart was in 1999 when Ricky Martin’s 'Livin’ La Vida Loca' was a worldwide smash hit.
The single also marks Justin's sixth time at number one.
Justin, who is currently on tour in South Africa, replaced himself on the chart.
His collaboration with DJ Khaled, 'I’m The One', dropped to number two on the UK singles chart, after debuting at No.1 last week.
The track also features Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Migos' Quavo.
