Katy Perry Met Gala dress compared to satanic bride
The Roar singer has attracted criticism for wearing a Maison Margiela dress by John Galliano to the Artisanal Met Gala. In fact, fans hated it!
Designer Galliano was sacked by Christian Dior in 2011 after being arrested over a video which showed him making racist and anti-Semitic insults at a bar in Paris.
The video showed him insulting a group of Italian women nearby and declaring: "I love Hitler. People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers would all be f***ing gassed."
He was forced to pay a fine and attributed his behaviour to alcohol addiction and sought rehab treatment.
But it was not Katy's choice of designer that raised eyebrows. Twitter went crazy when the singer hit the red carpet.Katy may have loved her Met Gala look on May 1, but her fans didn't share the same sentiment with some saying she looked like Winona Ryder in ‘Beetlejuice,’ and some even compared her to a menstrual cycle.

In another recent controversy, Katy was criticised for making what some claimed was a "racially-charged" joke about Barack Obama.
During an Instagram Live session, the 32-year-old read a series of fan questions, including one which said a fan missed Katy's "old black hair".
