Tyler Perry is officially a billionaire

American actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, Tyler Perry, has made his debut on Forbes' billionaire list!
Forbes’ 35th Annual World’s Billionaires List has finally been released. It features 2,755 people and 493 newcomers - and Perry is one of them.
Perry emerged on the list at number 2,677.
Some of his business ventures that contributed to him becoming a billionaire include - the ‘Haves and Have Nots’, ‘Tyler Perry’s Sistas’, and ‘Tyler Perry’s The Oval’.
Perry owns 100% of the content he’s created from his movies, TV shows and plays which gave him $320-million. According to his website, he is the mastermind behind 17 feature films, 20 stage plays, seven television shows, and a New York Times bestselling book, 'Don't Make a Black Woman Take Off Her Earrings: Madea's Uninhibited Commentaries on Love and Life'.
He also has cash and investments of $300-million. The Tyler Perry Studios, which are based in Atlanta, Georgia, gave him $280-million, while his BET+ stake is worth $60 million.
The Hollywood mogul’s homes and toys are worth $40-million.
In 2011, Forbes listed him as the highest-paid man in entertainment, earning $130-million between May 2010 and May 2011.
Other newcomer billionaires that are included on the Forbes billionaire list are Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.
Musician and entrepreneur Kanye West, who has a multi-year deal to design sneaker brand Yeezy for Adidas, is number 1,750 on the list with $1.8-billion.

Reality television star, influencer, and business owner Kim Kardashian West is No. 2,674 with $1-billion. Her money comes from TV income, endorsement deals, as well as her two brands - KKW Beauty and Skims.
