Selena Gomez to host COVID-19 concert

The world’s biggest stars will join Selena Gomez at a global concert that will raise money to help fight the coronavirus and ensure that there is fair global access to vaccines.
Global Citizen has put together another show following the success of its 2020 'One World - Together at Home' fundraiser which raised millions of dollars for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

This year, the organization is back with a global streaming show called, ‘VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World’.
Some of the big names that are taking part include Jennifer Lopez, H.E.R, the Foo Fighters and Eddie Vedder.

It will be hosted by singer Selena Gomez.
The ‘Lose You To Love Me’ hitmaker says the show is aimed at raising money to ensure equitable vaccine distribution around the world.
“This is a historic moment to encourage people around the world to take the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available to them, call on world leaders to share vaccine doses equitably, and to bring people together for a night of music in a way that hasn’t felt possible in the past year. I can’t wait to be a part of it,” she told Global Citizen.

‘VAX LIVE: The Concert to Reunite the World’ will broadcast on May 8.at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC, CBS, YouTube, and iHeart broadcast radio stations.
