#BreakfastBringsBack: The moment Darren made a ‘splash’ for #ECRToyStory17
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
This week, we decided to bring back a very special moment as a reminder to cherish every moment and to spread warmth in and around KZN.
Following the 2017 Toy Story Initiative, a Northlands Primary school learner, 12-year-old Josh Crocker challenged Darren Maule to a one-kilometre relay swim.

The ‘entrance fee’ for the learners at the Durban North school to watch Darren and the young swimmer go head-to-head, was a new toy for Toy Story.
The school definitely delivered, Darren however, had to get some of Josh's friends to swim a few meters for him.
This is one memory that we will never forget.

As the weekend dawns on us, remember to take deep breaths, love unconditionally and appreciate this life you've been given.
Thank you KZN for your love, support and for continuing to make the initiative successful, year after year.
