Lady Gaga fans can expect new music from the singer in the second half of 2017.

The Mother Monster has revealed that she will "absolutely" be debuting new material during her upcoming 'Joanne' world tour, which kicks off in August.

She dropped the big news while appearing on the Billboard Pop Shop podcast this week.

When asked if concertgoers can expect new material during the tour, Lady Gaga responded with a big yes.

She added that she was pulling out all the stops to make sure her tour is a major success.

"Absolutely. It’s going to be really fun and I’m really excited, the stage has been designed and it’s being built. We’ve been building the story of the show since the Super Bowl, and we’re beginning to delineate where we want choreography, what songs I’d like to play at the piano, and lighting is a big thing this year. The stage is very different from anything we’ve ever done before," NME quoted her as saying.

Sadly, the 'Born This Way' hitmaker's world tour will not be making a stop in South Africa.

Her little monsters in SA last saw her live in 2012, when she brought the 'Born This Way Ball' to our shores.

Some of her local fans started a petition to bring her latest tour to Mzansi, but it's not looking good.

Lady Gaga's last single, 'The Cure', is still making waves in South Africa.

The track, which was released in April, is currently at number 33 on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart.
